WORLD MISSION BUILDERS JOINS HITHMI
BUILDING ON A LEGACY
A NEW HARVEST
In 1975 after serving his country for six years in the United States Army, Ed Thomas become a pillar in his Oklahoma community in Oklahoma and founded World Mission Builders. His passion for service and devotion to helping others knew no bounds. In the spring of this year after a hard-fought battle against cancer Ed went home to be with the Lord. He dedicated his life to spreading the word of God and God’s love through his mission work. He was a devoted family man, he and his wife Pat raised three children, Beck, Susan, and Thomas. The family will not continue to administer World Mission Builders and have agreed for World Mission Builders (WMB) to come under the umbrella of Hope In The Harvest Missions International (HITHMI), see the September 24 Update for more details.

HITHMI AT A GLANCE
The purpose of Hope in the Harvest Missions is to seek to cultivate Christ’s hope in underdeveloped and impoverished areas of the world through agricultural and personal transformation. Building on borrowed talent, we seek to impact attitudes and practices that will promote the economic and social well-being of individuals, from a conviction that a changed life results from a Christ-changed heart.
Vision: Generating Christ centered economic growth.
HITHMI began in 2012 working in Liberia. We extend the Gospel through agriculture education using Farming God’s Way. We teach people to feed their families and if they want to expand we work with them to develop production business agriculture. We do this by running the country's only collegiate based Agriculture Research Center,
teaching Farming God's Way to the poorest of the poor in villages and teaching in a formal education setting on the campus of LICC.
