Joshua Award 2024 Mandela Washington Fellowship
How He Has Grown
Many of you have watched Joshua grow from a newly high school graduate, to LICC graduate, to the founder of Redimere Chocolate, to master's student, to husband, to now a recipient of a 2024 Mandela Washington Fellowship.
As a Fellow he will spend six weeks in Jackson Mississippi at the University of Mississippi. The executive-style program brings up to 700 young leaders from many countries, to the USA to build skills and empower the Fellows to return to their communities and sectors and lead. Joshua will meet with U.S. Government, civic, and business leaders.
Way to go Joshua - your friends and family around the world are cheering for you.
HITHMI AT A GLANCE
The purpose of Hope in the Harvest Missions is to seek to cultivate Christ’s hope in underdeveloped and impoverished areas of the world through agricultural and personal transformation. Building on borrowed talent, we seek to impact attitudes and practices that will promote the economic and social well-being of individuals, from a conviction that a changed life results from a Christ-changed heart.
Vision: Generating Christ centered economic growth.
HITHMI began in 2012 working in Liberia. We extend the Gospel through agriculture education using Farming God’s Way. We teach people to feed their families and if they want to expand we work with them to develop production business agriculture. We do this by running the country's only collegiate based Agriculture Research Center,
teaching Farming God's Way to the poorest of the poor in villages and teaching in a formal education setting on the campus of LICC.
